July 27 Interfaith Open House at the Bharatiya Hindu Temple in Powell, Ohio
More than 100 people representing a wide diversity of faiths attended the July 27 Interfaith Open House organized by the Interfaith Association of Central Ohio’s Spiritual Sharing Committee at the Bharatiya Hindu Temple in Powell, Ohio.
A moment of silence was offered for the victims of recent terrorist attacks on two major cities in India.
Dr. Bishun Pandey shared an overview of the Temple, and Mr. Bangalore Shankar facilitated introductions, followed by a choice of two "discussion groups" with the topics being either
Global Ethics: Contribution of Interfaith Mission and Art and Religion or a Temple visit.
Everyone enjoyed a delightful vegetarian meal served by the Temple.
