Practicing Religion in America II - May 2008
On Sunday May 4, 2008 at the Whetstone Public Library, a panel of Bahá’í, Hindu, and Sikh representatives shared their perspectives and experiences in practicing their faith traditions in America today.
Modern life in America sometimes presents a challenge to practicing religion. The purpose of this forum was to provide an opportunity to learn about the experiences of Americans from less well-known religious traditions in facing religious issues related to diet, dress, education, gender, worship and spirituality. Q & A with discussion and dialogue followed the presentations.
